My last post (you don't see it) was half right. She wasn't "the one" and yes, I have had that feeling before. There is only one person with whom caring about didn't end with me hating or otherwise despising. There is the reason for this post. Is it the cliche, "we're both fucked up so let's be fucked up together," thing or is there something deeper? There's no easy choice here. I'm not going to elaborate because this post is still mostly for myself even though I left it open.

Until next time; goodnight.

Still Life Decay will be joining Interlock on the tour this Spring. There might be some more going on there but not enough to talk about right now... (That'll be the new refrain.)

So. Surprises... Yeah. Got a bit of that. Heh.

I'm still feeling great about everything. <lj:music>Meshuggah - Rational Gaze</lj:music>

I was "laid off" at the computer shop so I can collect unemployment. Yay for getting un-refundable taxed income back. So I'm my own boss now. I can sleep or do whatever the fuck I want when I don't have an early session. Ahh.. Freedom.

So yeah... If anyone knows people that want to record in a local studio that can crank out major label sound then send them my way. Our rates are lower than the "competition" to make it easier to grab all of their business. We have a few bands lined up already. A guy in Texas will be up in a couple months to record a Death Metal album (he booked a solid week!), a local Metal/Grind band will be coming in soon, we're sponsoring a Battle of the Bands on October 28th and will be giving away coupons for 25% and 50% off studio time as prizes. Things are starting to move with the record label as well. Interlock (Industrial/Metal, UK) wants us to book their US Tour for next Spring! I'm really excited about everything coming together like this. It would be hard to get much happier than I am right now. I won't rule it out as being possible though. Sometimes surprises are a great thing.

:D
